The Project, in advanced development of Phase II (Feasibility), is registered as a Private Public Partnership of Private Initiative into the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) of the Government of the Republic of Colombia.

The Project complies with the framework of Law 1508/2012, regulated by Decree 1467/2012 and successive, which includes the requirements for any PPP initiative submitted to the Government of the Republic of Colombia. The Project has been registered as a 100% private initiative, without requiring the contribution of public funds.

The Project is well known among the main technical, social and business associations and institutions in Colombia, such as: Cámara Colombiana de la Infraestructura (CCI), Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia (ANDI), Consejo Privado de Competitividad, Sociedad Colombiana de Ingenieros (SCI), Asociación Colombiana de Ingenieros (ACIEM) and Sociedad Antioqueña de Ingenieros (SAI).

The Project has been presented to the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (IADB), the Corporación Financiera Internacional del Banco Mundial (IFC-World Bank), the Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina (CAF) and the Banco Europeo de Inversiones (BEI). Also to the European Union Embassy in Colombia.

Some of the most prominent building and concession companies of the world, as well as the big investment holdings in the sector, already know the Project. Important investors from Europe, USA, Australia, Brazil, China, and México have shown interest in the Ferropista Project.
